Both parents abandoned her while she was a baby. She has never seen her parents, and her grandmother was taking care of her. The grandmother was getting old, had no job, and had no finances to take care of Rose anymore. Because she had no food, she would go to the streets to find food to take home. If she didn’t find anything, she would have to stay on the street or the grandmother would beat her. Since coming to Mirembe, she has heard of the love of Jesus and now knows him personally! She needs some help to catch up with school, but other than that she is doing well! She loves her new home.
