Sonrise Ministries Inc., a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2010 with a mission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ while helping the most vulnerable. We currently support the Sonrise Baby Home, Sonrise Children's Home, Mirembe Cottage for Girls, and Melchizedek Pastoral-Church Ministry. All of these are managed by Ugandan siblings and former orphans.
Sonrise Baby Home
Established 2009 by Damali Manyindo to save vulnerable babies and provide care. Currently caring for about 68 babies, newborn to about 4 years of age. Located in Wabilongo Village, Kayunga District, nearest town Kangurumira

Sonrise Children's Home
Established 2010 by Ivan Mukulu to rescue and care for vulnerable children. Ivan and Melissa Mukulu directors. Currently caring for 75 children, ages 4+. Located in Abutanula village, Kamuli District.
Mirembe Cottage for Girls
Established in 2011 by Daniel Mugoda Awali to rescue homeless girls from the streets of Jinja, Uganda. Currently caring for 46 girls. Located in Wakikoola B Village, Buikwe District. Educating 400 village children, caring for 45 rescued girls.
Melchizedek Church & Pastoral Ministry
Established in 2010 to start churches and raise up biblically sound pastors, evangelist and youth leaders in southern Uganda. Pastor Ivan Mukulu director.
Sonrise Community Christian Nursery & Primary School
Established 2018 as a sub-ministry of the Sonrise Children’s Home. Offers nursery and primary education for Children’s Home children and village children. Current enrollment is 350. School is located at the Sonrise Children’s Home, Abutanula village, Kamuli District

Established 2018 as a sub-ministry of the Mirembe Cottage of Street Girls. Offers nursery and secondary (S7) education for Mirembe Cottage girls and village children. Current enrollment is about 400. School is located at the Mirembe Cottage, Wakikoola B Village, Buikwe District
