Matthew K
Matthew was born February 2011.
When Matthew was just a baby, he lost his mother to malaria. She was his only parent, and with no one else to care for him, he was brought to the Sonrise Baby Home in March 2013. A year later, in January 2014, he transitioned to the Sonrise Children’s Home.
Today, Matthew is thriving in secondary school. Not only has he grown physically, but his confidence has blossomed as well. He has a strong desire to become a science teacher and is already showing signs of leadership. During school breaks, he volunteers at the primary school, assisting teachers and helping tutor his younger friends at the home who are struggling academically. His heart for others and passion for learning continue to shine brightly.
