< Back to Children

Birthdate: Sept 2015

A concerned community member reported Moses's situation out of fear for his well-being, leading to the arrest of his mother. His condition worsened after a witch doctor had advised his mother to abandon him at home. His father was already in prison for abusing his daughter. With no one else to care for him, the police took Moses into protective custody and brought him to the baby home.

At the time, Moses was severely malnourished. He spent an entire month in the hospital recovering while at the Sonrise Baby Home.

Today, Moses is thriving at the Sonrise Children's Home. He’s a cheerful, healthy little boy with a bright smile. He adores his house auntie, Mary, and loves to follow her around the home. He eagerly helps her in the kitchen and enjoys playing soccer with his friends.
