Peace M (Big Peace)

When Peace’s mother became pregnant, her father was arrested and sentenced to many years in prison for another crime. Tragically, Peace’s mother passed away during childbirth, leaving no one to care for the newborn baby. Peace was taken in by her uncle, a hardworking man who burns charcoal in the forest to provide for his large family. With several children of his own and other orphans already in his care, he simply couldn’t support another child.

When Peace was just two days old, her uncle brought her to Sonrise, hoping she would receive the care and love she needed.

Today, Peace is growing up in the Sonrise Children’s Home. She is a quiet and thoughtful young girl who values her personal space. Her room is always neat and perfectly organized—she takes pride in keeping her belongings just right and doesn’t like things to be out of place. Peace has a passion for cooking and enjoys preparing meals for her home. She also has big dreams for her future and plans to study accounting after completing secondary school.
