Mai was brought to Mirembe by the local government. They said her dad is a drug addict and her mom abandoned her. Mai ran away from home because the dad wouldn’t take care of her. Even now, her dad is homeless. Mai had very low self-esteem when she came, and she had never been to school before. She is now happy to be with the other girls. She is catching up with school very fast. We pray that one day she will come to know the Lord.
