Miriam’s mother gave birth at a young age. She was only in elementary school at the time she became pregnant and has no idea who the father is. She later married another man and abandoned her daughter with her grandmother. The grandmother was not in good health and passed away leaving Miriam with a neighbor who mistreated her. That left Miriam sleeping on the streets and looking for her food sometimes. Miriam was from the slums of Mafubira in jinja. Amos and Daniel heard of her story and made space in the Mirembe Cottage for Maria. Please pray for Miriam that she will adjust well and that she will come to know and love the Lord.
