Her dad died, and she was staying with her mother who had no job or finances to take care of her. Her mother would get so drunk and beat Dina and chase her out of the house. She found the streets to be more peaceful than at home. Since coming to Mirembe, she has heard of the love of Jesus and now knows him personally! She is so happy now and loving school. She still needs some help to catch up, but she will get there!
