Both sisters were abandoned 3 years ago by their parents because they were no longer able to provide for them and their 6 other siblings. They were brought to Sonrise to be helped. These sweet sisters are quite opposites, but they share the love for the Lord. Barbara has quite the personality always making jokes, and loves to laugh, Irene is a bit more reserved but such a strong girl, and a leader when needed. Their parents are believed to be in western Uganda. Their 6 siblings, also abandoned, live with a grandmother.
