Monday L

Born 2000

Monday’s parents are both still alive. They are old and very poor, have no jobs, and are alcoholics. While Monday was young, she became sick with polio, but her parents couldn’t afford to take her to the hospital. So, she became sick and lame in the leg. Her parents could not afford to send her to school, buy food or clothes. Monday then ended up on the streets to find food to eat. Some loving sponsors paid for a corrective surgery to help with her leg, and she is doing so much better! She is so happy to be at Mirembe and has hopes of walking again soon one day. Since coming to Mirembe, she has heard of the love of Jesus and now knows him personally.
