The Lord will open the heavens, the store house of His bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the works of your hands , you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.  - DEUTERONOMY 28:12

Yams, eggplant, plantain, corn, bitter berries, pineapple, sweet potatoes, and okra are coming up at the CHildren’s Home land!

On faith we opened the Sonrise Community Christian School in February 2018. We continue to trust that God will provide the necessary funds to provide a quality education to approximately 150 village children who otherwise would not be attending school.

Can you imagine a child that begs to attend school. Will walk in bare feet through a swamp to get to school. Such a hunger to learn to read and write.

When you support a childs education at the Sonrise Community Christian School, you provide 2 meals a day, basic health care, school books, writing utensils, and a biblical education from highly qualified teachers. Our children memorize Bible verses each week while they are taught how to read the Bible and pray.

Through this Christian education, the seed is being planted and the gospel is being shared on a daily basis to the children and their families

You can be involved by supporting a child for only $15 a month! Each term (3 terms in a year) you will receive a new child’s picture to pray for during your support! Consider becoming involved in the future of these children!!

The children of the Sonrise Children’s Home harvested oranges today from the land God gave us. We also recently planted a half an acre of sweet potatoes, a half acre of cassava and two acres of maize. We continue to plant additional crops. In recent months we’ve harvested many tomatoes to the extent that the children enjoyed some raw which is a rare treat. God is helping us to become increasingly more self sustaining.
