A Fragile Start, A Chance to Thrive

Irene was rescued from a deeply troubling situation. Her mother severely burned her older brother after he helped himself to food without her permission. Instead of seeking medical help, both parents kept the injured boy hidden in their home. Concerned neighbors reported the incident to the local authorities. The police discovered the boy in critical condition, with his hand severely infected and badly infected. He was immediately rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care. Both parents were arrested and later sentenced to prison. Following this, Irene was placed in the care of Sonrise Baby Home, where she was safe and surrounded by love and support.

Irene has since graduated from the Baby Home and now lives at Sonrise Children’s Home, where she will continue to grow, learn, and dream.
