Meet Mark – A New Beginning Born from Hardship

Mark’s story began in heartbreaking circumstances. His mother, battling mental illness, was living on the streets when she became pregnant by an unknown man. With no one to care for her, she gave birth alone—exposed, vulnerable, and without the support every new mother and baby deserve.

Passersby in the village noticed the fragile newborn in such unsafe conditions and knew something had to be done. They alerted the authorities, and Mark was soon brought into the care of Sonrise Baby Home. His mother was taken to the hospital for the medical help she desperately needed.

With no known relatives or family to turn to, Sonrise Baby Home became Mark’s first real home, a place where he could begin to grow, heal, and simply be a child.

Today, Mark is full of life and learning to smile. He’s safe, well-fed, and surrounded by loving caregivers who nurture his every step. Though his beginning was filled with uncertainty, his future is now filled with possibility.

Today, Mark has graduated from the Baby Home and now lives at Sonrise Children’s Home, where he will continue to grow, learn, and dream of a brighter future.
