Meet Miracle Kirabira

Born on December 29, 2021, Miracle came into the world during a difficult time—right in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown. When her mother discovered she was pregnant, she bravely shared the news with her parents. Unfortunately, they were deeply disappointed and chose to distance themselves from both her and the unborn child. Feeling abandoned, Miracle’s mother moved in with the baby’s father and stayed there through the pregnancy and birth.

After giving birth, she remained determined to pursue her dreams. When schools reopened, she reached out to Sonrise Baby Home, asking if they could help care for Miracle while she returned to school. Thanks to their support, she is now continuing her education, committed to building a brighter future for herself and her daughter when she is able.

Miracle has since graduated from the Baby Home and now lives at Sonrise Children’s Home, where she will continue to grow, learn, and dream.
